On May 30, 2014 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. P.S. Raghavan, together with Dr. Rama Swami Bansal, Consellor (S&T) and Mr. Ashish Sharma, Second Secretary, Embassy of India, Moscow (Russia), visited the Russian-Indian Science and Technology Centre.
Mr. S.Y. Sukonkin, RISTC General Director, informed the distinguished guests about the activity of the Centre in the sphere of scientific and technical cooperation between the Centre and EDBOE RAS and Indian scientific organizations.
Ms. L.I. Kornaukhova, RISTC Deputy General Director, told the guests about current activities of the Centre.
During the negotiations there was discussed the cooperation between RISTC Moscow and Delhi Units, maximum possible information scope of interested companies, enterprises and institutes, joint plan for 2014 and a number of other issues concerning joint activity of both Units of the Centre.
The guests got an overview of the infrastructure of the Centre and met its employees.
Dr P.S. Raghavan expressed satisfaction with the visit to the Centre and the outcome of the meeting and promised to lend extensive support for the RISTC activity.
