Transfer of Russian Innovations comes to the stage of Commercialization

On November, 18-21, 2013, at M.S.RAMAIAN School of Advanced Studies (MSRSAS), Bangalore, India, there was held a regional Scientific - Practical Workshop under the leadership of Professor Alexander S. Shalumov, General Director of Research Institute ASONIKA, and Head of Department of Information Technologies at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (Vladimir Branch). The Workshop is the start of conversion of the Transfer program (June, 9-16, 2013) into Commercialization program of the Russian innovative development – automated system for designing and testing of radio electronic production – in India, according to the Agreement, signed on June, 15, 2013.  More than 20 IT specialists from Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh states took part in the Workshop.

The program of the Workshop included: the installation of ASONIKA System educational version in the MSRSAS classroom with the participation of IT specialists of the University; training of the group of MSRSAS faculties for working with the system;

series of lectures for all the participants of the Workshop; training of the participants to master    the ASONIKA System fundamental modules; summing up discussions, concerning  further use of the system in the real sector of  Indian economics. The participants of the Workshop received relevant certificates.

Finalizing the Workshop there was signed an Agreement on establishment of MSRSAS-based authorized training and consulting ASONIKA Centre for Indian IT faculties and specialists from the Indian companies.  

In organizing and implementation of the first joint RISTC Moscow and Delhi Units Project on commercialization of the Russian innovative IT product participated:
from Moscow Unit – L.I.Kornauhova, RISTC Deputy General Director;
from Delhi Unit - Shrikant Joshi, IRSTC Executive Director, Srinivasa Rao, IRSTC Coordinator. The colleagues from RISTC Moscow and Delhi Units also discussed joint work plan for 2014.

On November, 22, IRCTS Delhi Unit organized the visit of Prof. Alexander Shalumov and Liudmila Kornaukhova with presentation of ASONIKA System for a state organization -  Research Centre Imarat (RCI), one of the biggest research centers in Hyderabad, and the private company ICOMM Tele Ltd.

To summarize, the visit has laid the foundation for the commercialization of Russian scientific and technological developments in India within the frameworks of RISTC Moscow and Delhi Units activity.
