The results of the Indian delegation’s visit to Moscow
The delegation of the representatives of the Indian organizations interested in the Russian innovative technologies finished their visit to Russia.
Among the members of the delegation there were:
- Dr. Govindan Sundararajan, ARCI Director, Hyderabad - Ms. Rama Svami Bansal, Councillor for Science and Technology, the Indian Embassy in Moscow - Dr. Shrikant Joshi, IR STC Executive Director, New Delhi - Mr. Dameracharla Rao, IR STC coordinator, New Delhi - Mr. Shakti Mishra, IR STC manager, New Delhi - Dr. Giri Digbijoi, MIDHANI Deputy General Director, Hyderabad - Prof. Narayanasvami Balakrishnan, Indian Technology Institute Director, Bangalor - Dr. S.K. Varshni, Science and Technology Department, Indian Government
In accordance with the program jointly developed by RI STC Delhi and Moscow units the members of the Indian delegation visited a number of enterprises and organizations that possess the developments that are perspective for the Russian-Indian collaboration.
So, on September,3-4, the specialists from India were received in JSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation. The Director of the Corporation emphasized that VSMPO was interested in creation of joint venture with the plant MIDHANDI, Hyderabad, India, producing titanium sponge. RISTC Delhi Unit was suggested that exhibition-demonstration of VSMPO-AVISMApossibilities should be organized in New Delhi in order to determine potential participants of the joint venture, as well as independent demonstration within the industrial sectors for the focused work in the in the certain directions: - aerospace and shipbuilding; - all means of transport - energy, chemical industry; -desalination of sea water and drinking water purification, etc.
On September, 10, the delegation paid a visit to JSC MRTI RAS. Its management supported the initiative of the Indian side to organize the exhibition-demonstration of JSC MRTI RAS possibilities in New Delhi in order to determine potential customers of the technology. Now the negotiations on realization of the provisions of the Minutes signed during the meeting are carried on.
On September, 11, the Indian delegation visited JSC NPC NIIDAR. They familiarized with the production of the enterprise and expressed interest in promoting products NIIDAR to the Indian market. The presentation materials are planned to be sent to the respective Indian organizations soon.
