The Round Table is going to be one of the most significant events in business life of both Russia and India.
The Round Table is held in order to enhance constructive dialogue between Russian and Indian research and business communities and secure the most favorable environment for the development of both countries’ economies. The main goals set are to facilitate cooperation and create new linkages, develop industrial assets, promote new R&D and business projects.
Among the Round Table participants will be ministry representatives, heads of region, Chambers and Associations of Commerce, innovative technology and equipment developers, businessmen from both countries. More than 100 participants from various Russian and Indian regions are expected.
In the course of the Round Table the participants will discuss Russian and Indian innovative potential and capacity for economy diversification as well as development trends of economic interaction. After the plenary meeting discussions will be held in theme breakout sessions. Besides, business visits to New Delhi companies and research organization are planned. On the outcomes of the Round Table a resolution is planned to be adopted, with the participants’ recommendations.
It is essential that the Round Table becomes a special meeting site, where issues of scientific, technological, and industrial development can be resolved. This will provide a basis for Russian and Indian economy diversification and facilitate production of high-tech goods as a completed innovative cycle, beginning with a research project and ending with commercial manufacturing.
The Round Table will become the first event in a new congress cycle, and its results will be of great importance not only for this business year, but for the long-term economic development of both countries as well.
